I had the honor of taking some pics for a few ladies to give to their amazing men!

I don not feel you have to be a model to take a beautiful picture and these ladies blew me away with their

poise and grace! There is an added bonus.. One of them has a man who is deployed and missing his Valentine this year because he is keeping us all safe and our freedom in tact!

So some of the pictures will be released at a later date because he deserves to see them first!

Hats off to you ladies for rockin the day and making me love my job more when I see how happy you are not only with your pictures but with your beauty as well!!

Well life and the creation of life never stops amazing me!! I have had the Pure Joy of taking pictures for a brand new beautiful Life! Caylin is a sweet and very loveable baby girl! I know her family very well and I am so excited that I have been able to capture her early days for them!! Ryan and Anna you guys have a beautiful Family!! I am more then sure I will be taking Many Pictures for you and I hope with all my heat that you cherish these as much I as have cherished the time I have spent with you and Caylin taking them!!

Where does the time go??

I have been on a mad dash for weeks!! I am so sorry for not getting here sooner! Wow so much has happened!
Well to start with I have found a new inner peace! I ahve debated putting my camera down for my family and going to a 9-5. But after my Thanksgiving trip and the support of my family I have decided I am a Photographer. On that note I have come to the realization that my little camera needs an upgrade, not because it is not Awesome, but because it is holding me back as a Photographer! I am not taking pictures for me I am doing it for God. I have given my talent to him and since then I have been guided to places I never thought I would go this fast! My joy is in taking pictures and seeing the finished product when a family gets them and is so happy that they have those memories!
A friend and Local Photog had an experience that has compelled me to want to share my feelings with you all. When I am behind my lens I am looking at the emotion as much as the composition. An angel to capture a look or gleam. These are not just pictures to me. They are moments we will never get back. Even in an Engagement session the feelings are different then on the wedding day! People are always evolving and so do too our emotions! You never know what a picture can do for someone. When you look back on your life fill it with moments! It will save a marriage, help a family or parent heal and for sure make telling your Great Grandchildren your love story even better!!

Shoot Out #2!!

Sand and Surf! We are on location at Jax beach! Concept: White sandy beach, bright afternoon sun, and a bride in a white dress.. Every Photogs Nightmare! Our job was to learn and work with getting it right! We don't have a say in what time a wedding is going to be! Hey for all you know the 2:00pm block on the beach has a special meaning!

It was a blast working with so many talented Photographers’! I myself am there to learn and get experience! I had the joy of meeting new people and talking with them about my passion! It was more like a play date then a shoot!! What you see in the finished product is our best.. And the conditions we take the shots are not our norm! We are sharing the models with 7-10 other photogs who are all shooting when you are. They are all very polite and careful not to jump in a shot! This has been the best thing I have ever done for myself and the most fun I have had in a long time!! We had some beautiful brides and a very adorable couple!

Well I had the pleasure of taking pictures of a beautiful family this weekend! I have known them since their 3 year old was 5 months old!! But this time I get to know their daughter from the start! I think every woman needs to have beautiful pictures taken when she is pregnent! It makes you feel special and it gives you a special keepsake of a time you will never get back! SO to Anna & Ryan I hope you have a long and happy life together and to your wonderful family, Hold on fast to the roller coaster of life and enjoy the ride!

Missing the day!

We went to Massachusetts for summer vacation with the kid's. We spent 3 days in a cabin on Cape Cod. I have a ton of pictures you will see my favs on the page at one time or another! But this morning I am missing the Cape and all the fun we had there! The air is cool and crisp and made me think of how cool and crisp it was in the middle of July..

Ok well I had a littl flack for this one but it is my favorite! We were all trying to get that one shot of the night from each girl and having to work around eachother! Anybody there shooting will know what I mean when I say it was a big accoplishment to not get an elbow or pop up head in a shot! So I was not happy with some of the background in this picture... so I opened up my Paint.Net and 2 clicks and here we go! And Yes I said Paint.net and it was 2 clicks!! LOL I am not a Photo Shop junkie yet! I got it only a 2 weeks ago!! But I am a Paint.Net junkie! I love that I can use just as many and more plug ins and it is all free! Plus there are so many places to get info! But back to my Pic.

It was the last set out of my 600 shots and I went for it! Lauren {the Model} was awseome to work with! Since that night we have been FaceBook buddies and I can say she is a great person! I was not the best Photog out there but for my first Shoot Out I think I did ok!
